It is collection week for Samaritan’s Purse Operation Christmas Child shoeboxes. Please bring your box to the church so that it may be dedicated to the Lord during worship on Sunday, November 22nd, before going to an area collection center and on its way to a child that needs to know the love of Jesus.
We have learned of a confirmed COVID diagnosis with two people who attended our Sunday morning worship service this past Sunday (11/1). Due to surging numbers of COVID cases, Governor Little released an order this week moving Idaho back into “Stage 3” of the reopening plan. Due to Covid precautions, we have canceled our Annual Chili and Cornbread feed with a Dessert Auction. Please bring a yummy dessert to auction off! This year’s Dessert Auction proceeds will be used to replenish the Hirrel Memorial Fund which was used to pay off the roof loan.
This coming Tuesday (6:30 at the church), the Men’s Bible study will begin a new study on the New Testament book Hebrews. Come join us for a time of prayer, Bible study, and encouragement…and maybe an occasional rabbit trail.
Because of the installation service this afternoon, there will be no youth group tonight. We plan to return to our normal schedule on the 18th at 6pm.
Here is a reminder about the events on Sunday: We are returning to public worship at our usual times. Sunday school is at 9:15 and worship begins at 10:30. The installation service is at 4pm.
