Announcements (1/7)

Sunday School resumes this week @9:15am. Adults & Youth will be together to discuss our ministry plans for 2022.

Worship is Sunday morning at 10:30am. The sermon will focus on the next word in the new “Churchy Words” sermon series. We will reflect on the word “God”; what it means and why understanding it correctly matters.

Snow!

Thanks so much to everyone who has shoveled, scooped, salted, snow-blown, and driven and/or loaned out equipment for clearing the sidewalks and driveway here at teh church.

We’ll be ready for everyone on Sunday morning!

There is no Sunday School this week so we hope to see you for worship at 10:30am.

This Week’s Announcements (12/24)

We hope to see you this evening at the Christmas Eve Service. The service begins at 5pm.

Sunday School resumes on January 9th. That Sunday the youth and adult classes will be together to discuss our plans for 2022. We will be presenting our ministry strategy as well as some exciting changes in how we will approach leadership and caring for one another.

The remainder of the term, along with our children’s Catechism Club class and our Teen’s class, we will offer two classes for adults to choose from:

Bible Project
This class is a combination of video and discussion that seeks to build a deeper understanding of the Bible as a whole story. We will look at a variety of passages from both the Old and New Testaments.
Meets in the Community Room.

Leadership Training
This discussion class seeks to train people as leaders. We will use the EPC Leadership Training Guide as we dig into church history, foundational theology, EPC church government, and congregational care. In order to get the most out of this class, there will be some outside reading. The Leadership guide is available online, and there are limited copies available on the Resource Table in the narthex. Meets in the Library.
