Our Annual Chili and Cornbread feed with a Dessert Auction will be Sunday, November 1st after the worship service. Please bring a yummy dessert to auction off! This year’s Dessert Auction proceeds will be used to replenish the Hirrel Memorial Fund which was used to pay off the roof loan.
Men are invited to attend a Bible study held each Tuesday evening from 6:30-8:00 p.m. in the Living Waters Evangelical Presbyterian Church Community Room. They have begun an eight week study of Spiritual Gifts led by Pastor Shaun Spencer.
Living Waters will have opportunities for “adopting” a child through Compassion International. On Sunday, September 13th there will be packets available with information about children needing sponsors. Consider whether you can give hope and support to a child in an underprivileged country. The third annual “Pray for our Schools” is happening Sunday, August 23rd starting at 3:00 pm at the Wendell Elementary School and moving to each of the schools. Let’s join as a community to cover our students, teachers, staff, bus drivers and others with prayer as students come back to classes August 24th.
